Lemon Tree Goods strives to offer the best quality items to its clientele.  With this in mind we have published the following checklist for accepting consignments.  For full consigment policies please read our Consignment Policies page.


  • Current Season
  • No more than 2 years old
  • Designer or high-end retail brand


  • Freshly laundered or Dry Cleaned
  • No rips, tears or holes
  • No pilling or snags
  • No Stains or Fading
  • Whites are bright
  • No unpleasant odors
  • Buttons, hooks or snaps complete and intact
  • Zippers in good working order
  • Wrinkle Free
  • On Hanger


  • Lightly worn
  • Scuff and dirt free
  • Heels intact
  • Cleaned and/or polished
  • No Athletic Shoes


  • No scuffs, tears, or marks
  • Surface cleaned and/or polished
  • Inside cleaned/vacuumed
  • Closures in good working order
  • Straps/pockets intact
  • If designer, must be authentic


  • If you saw this item in a store, as it exists right now, you would purchase it


All items accepted must be ‘sale ready’ as described by the above checklist and by Lemon Tree Goods Consignment Policies.  If an item is not ‘sale ready’ the consignor may return with the item when it is ready or LTG may accept the item along with a $5.00 preparation fee.   The cost of cleaning or repair will be deducted from the consignor’s account.


All items not accepted for sale will be donated.  Each item must be clearly identified by consignor number or name, also indicate whether the item should be returned at the end of the consignment period if accepted for sale.   For any item accepted that is not ‘sale ready’ as described by the above checklist and by Lemon Tree Goods Consignment Policies LTG will deduct a $5.00 preparation fee plus the actual cost of cleaning or repair.

This check list describes the condition we expect for all consignments.  LTG accepts items based on need,  market, and demand.
