Appointments are required for all new consignors.  Up to 30 items will be reviewed for consignment per appointment.  Existing consignors may use the drop-and-run process for 10 items or less.  A consignor utilizing the drop-and-run process must fill out the drop-and-run card containing name, contact information,  consignor id and inventory dropped off.  Drop-and-run items not accepted for sale must be picked up within 2 business days or they will be donated.  If you are unsure of your items or cannot return for the ‘No Thank You’ items within 2 business days please call for an appointment.


Lemon Tree Goods prices items at best resale market value.  Prices will reduce as time passes and can be reduced for sales, events and promotional coupons.   In general an item is initially priced at 25 to 30 percent of the market value.  This percent will rise or fall based on demand for and condition of the item.  High demand and ‘new with tag’ items may be priced higher.  A small buyer fee is added to the set price, this does not affect your percentage.


 Consignor payments are available after the 15th of every month.  Balances are based on a percentage of the final sales price.  Checks are written for balances $20.00 and up.  Most of our consignors pick up their checks, if you would like your check mailed a $1.00 fee will be deducted for postage and envelope.  Cash payment is available for amounts under $20.00.  Store credit is available anytime.    Consignors receive 40% of the final sales price.


Please take any packaging, garment bags, or hangers you wish to keep with you, we cannot be responsible for any packaging left with an item.   LTG is not liable for merchandise that is damaged, stolen or lost.  



LTG accepts women’s  designer and high end clothing.  We accept designer handbags, lightly worn shoes, some accessories, and appropriate outerwear.  All items must be season appropriate, current styles, and no older than two years.  Items must be in pristine condition.  While your items may meet all the above conditions we may not be able to accept due to our customer market or adequate stock already on the sales floor. 


Items must be freshly laundered or dry cleaned.  Items should be on hangers or newly folded in box, basket or paper shopping bag.  Plastic bags often results in wrinkling.  Please look for tears, snags, pilling, stains, loose hems, broken zippers, broken or missing buttons.  Also be aware of odors, musty smells and smoke in particular.  If we accept an item for sale, we expect them to be in the best condition, just as you do when purchasing.  Should an item be accepted and  found in need of cleaning or repair we will deduct a convenience fee of $5.00 plus the cost of cleaning or repair from your account.  It is to your benefit that you thoroughly inspect your items prior to consigning and bring them in clean and ‘ready to show’.


 For any unsold items that you would like returned please make arrangements to pick them up at the end of its consignment period.  You may identify specific pieces that you would like returned if unsold. We currently have several hundred excellent consignors and while we try to notify at the end of each consignment period it is not always feasible.  Ultimately it is the responsibility of the consignor to arrange a retrieval date.  Please set up a retrieval day 72 hours (3 business days) in advance to allow us to gather your items and have them ready for you.  Contact us at consignors@lemontreegoods.com to set a date and receive a confirmation or call us at 508-655-2600.  

Expiration dates are 2 months from the consignment date.  If you are not sure of the date please ask us.  Items not picked up or scheduled for pick up 1 week after the end of the consignment period  become the property of Lemon Tree Goods.  Items will be donated or distributed accordingly.
